Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian (Yzb) Keyboard Layout
Basic information:
Based on the Polish (programmers) layout, with most Russian characters placed similarly to
the QWERTY layout instead of Latin letters and additional Russian and special Ukrainian and
Belarusian characters accessed by Alt + letter. Also all basic letters
of Latin alphabet can be obtained using Alt + / dead key
Layout details – description:
1. Basic letters are placed under normal signs :)
caution!
a) under e there is å, and not ý
b) â is placed under v, and not under w
2. Soft and hard sign are placed:
a) ú under q
b) ü under w
3. Under h there is õ
4. Under x there is ù
5. Iotated vowels are accessible using Alt key under not-iotated letters:
a) ÿ is placed under Alt + a
b) þ is placed under Alt + u
caution!
c) under Alt + e there is ý
d) ¸ is placed under Alt + o
e) under Alt + i there is i
f) ¿ is placed under Alt + j
g) º is placed under Alt + q
6. Signs corresponding Polish digraphs (or other-Slavic signs with carons) are accessible using Alt key under appropriate first letters of Polish digraphs:
a) ÷ is placed under Alt + c
b) ø is placed under Alt + s
c) æ is placed under Alt + z
7. Other additional signs of Ukrainian and Belarusian alphabets are accessible using Alt key in the following way:
a) ´ is placed under Alt + g
caution!
b) ¢ is placed under Alt + y
8. All signs from the non-alphabetical part of the Polish (programmers) / English (US) layout remained on their places.
9. Using Alt + / dead key, and then appropriate letter's key, all basic letters of Latin alphabet can be obtained. In addition, the apostrophe and ¹ can be obtained using Alt + / dead key and, respectively, ` and 3.
10. Using ~ (Shift + `) dead key, and then appropriate letter's key, all Polish signs can be obtained – identically as in the Polish (programmers) keyboard layout.

Installation information:
1. Run the YZB-CCCP.msi file
2. When the inslallation finishes, click Close
3. Enter the Control Panel
4. Then enter Regional and Language Options
5. Select Languages, then Details, then Add...
6. Select Input language: Kazakh
7. Select Keyboard layout/IME: Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian (Yzb)
8. Click OK successively on the three opened windows
